People, places and pounds
We help our clients to make ethical investments. Many of us are committed to making the world a better place to live and want to protect our planet and promote greater fairness. Ensuring that your investments do not support companies that are increasing our carbon footprint, are involved in armaments, animal testing, tobacco, gambling, deforestation, or profit from oppressive regimes is important to most of us.

What are my pension and savings invested in?
Many people who care deeply about the planet and the people on it, would be shocked to learn that their pensions, ISAs and other assets have been invested in businesses that fail to meet basic environmental social and governance (ESG) standards.
The reality is that sadly, many of the world’s largest companies engage in one or more activities that would fail ESG benchmarks and typically, investment and pension funds invest in the shares of these companies.
If your portfolio has not been ethically screened then it will almost certainly have been invested in businesses that do not meet these basic ethical standards.
Preserving profits and principles
An ESG investment fund is still intended to make a profit while allowing you to keep your principles. The funds are invested in businesses that are expected to make money but that satisfy ESG standards and strict ethical and environmental scrutiny.
These days having good moral scruples and investing in ESG funds can actually make you more money than that of your more conventionally invested peers. And the reason that ESG funds have such positive returns? Non-sustainable industries are being increasingly deemed unacceptable and as such, their long-term future looks poor. By complete contrast, funds that are in sustainable and environmentally conscious sectors such as waste management, alternative energy etc are looking to make a positive impact and will be active in profitable growth.
How we can help!
Whether you have money in pensions, ISAs or other investments we can assist you to create an ethically sustainable portfolio that meets your ESG concerns and also achieves your financial objectives. Conducting a thorough review of your existing pensions and investments will allow us to see if they are appropriate and we can then help you to move your money to lucrative and more ESG conscious alternatives.
